Wheel Throwing Night Class

Great for beginner to intermediate levels, our eight week pottery wheel class teaches the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including the making of cylinders, bowls, and cups with handles. We will also cover the basics of glazing, work with cone 6 oxidation and cone 10 reduction glazes. Class fee includes one 25 pound bag of clay and a tool kit for new students.  Your materials fee of $20 helps us cover glazes, kilns, and maintenance of studio tools and equipment. Studio is open for student use throughout the week and extended evening hours!

Date:  Tuesdays, May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18, 25.

Time:  6:00pm – 9:00pm

Place:  Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, Ceramics Studio

Cost:  $300 per student/ $20 materials fee

Instructor:  Darryl O’Donnell

Level:  Ages 16 and up

Class Limit:  10 students per class
