One Destination… Two American Masters

Urchin Vessel Workshop

In this participatory workshop no prior clay experience is required. Students will learn handbuilding techniques to create their own legs or spikes to attach to pre prepared vessel forms. Students will then be instructed how to use an air compressor to spray glaze their pots for an airbrushed and runny effect. These forms are perfect for decorative containers or fantastical planters. Each student will create two of their own small spike bowls. They will be ready for pickup in the museum studio in about 2 weeks.
