Beginning Wheel Throwing Night Class

In our eight week introductory pottery wheel class students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including the making of cylinders, bowls, and cups with handles.  We will also have a basic introduction to glazing and work with cone 6 oxidation and cone 10 reduction glazes. Class fee includes one 25 pound bag of clay and a tool kit for new students.  Your materials fee of $20 helps us cover glazes, kilns, and maintenance of studio tools and equipment. Studio is open for student use throughout the week and extended evening hours!

Date:  Tuesdays, February 26, March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23

Time:  6:00pm – 9:00pm

Place:  Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, Ceramics Studio

Cost:  $300 per student/ $20 materials fee
